District 9710 Goals
for 2006-07
I encourage all Presidents to
work towards the District Goals Award
for the year 2006F2007.
To
qualify, the Club must achieve at least 3 of the following 5 goals.
Just
provide supporting information to your Assistant Governor before 1st
June 2007.
1.
Each Club to form a "TWIN" relationship with another Club
in our District, recognising their differences, rather than their
similarities, eg City/Rural - Coast/Inland and to arrange a reciprocal
fellowship exchange.
2.
Each Club to participate in any one of the following
programmes in which they haven’t been involved for at least 5 years:
Interact - charter a club
Rotaract
- charter a club
NYSF -
nominate a participant
YARN -
nominate a participant
MUNA -
nominate a participant
YEP -
host or sponsor a student
RYLA -
sponsor a participant or host a camp
RYPEN
- sponsor a participant or host a camp
Induct
a member of Rotary Alumni as a member
GSE -
nominate a candidate or host the incoming team
3.
Every Club to have 50% of members become contributors to the Rotary
Foundation - at any level.
4. Every Club to achieve
a net increase in membership over 2005-2006.
5. Every Club embrace
the "Family of Rotary" concept
by producing and distributing a quarterly newsletter to honorary members,
supporters, Rotary widows & widowers, former Youth Exchange students,
GSE team members and other non Rotarians involved in our activities.
